Rare with only one previous record, over 100 years ago, from Lewis. The lead colour shows well in fresh specimens but older ones can easily be confused with Dichrorampha aeratana. Active from May to June

The larvae feed on the roots of Ox-eye daisy Leucanthemum vulgare and Yarrow Achillea millefolium
