Euthrix potatoria (Linnaeus, 1758)
Drinker
First recorded on the Outer Hebrides in 2009, over the following 15 years the population has exploded, now reaching Lewis. Found in damp places during July and August. Larvae feed on a range of grasses and reeds and can be seen in their hundreds in some years.
