Thyme Pug

A sparse and scattered distribution in Scotland with most Outer Hebridean records coming from the southern end of South Uist and Eriskay. The flight period is June to July over south-facing coastal outcrops where wild thyme (Thymus drucei), the larval food-plant, is often common.
