Agriphila selasella  (Hübner, [1813])

Pale-streak Grass-moth

Rare with just two July records, both from South Uist. It is a grassland species with the larvae feeding on grasses including common saltmarsh-grass (Puccinellia maritima) and Poa spp. Easily recognised with a creamy-white stripe down the wings. Similar to Agriphila tristella.
