Caloptilia betulicola (Hering, 1928)
Birch Stilt
This fairly common species is very similar to (C. elongella) but has specific food plant requirements. Bivoltine: found from June to July and September to October. Birch (Betula) species are the preferred foodplants. Found on South Uist and Benbecula.
